Claret

Las Vigas Clarete

The Claret of Las Vigas

The claret of Las Vigas (a dark rosé) is without a doubt the product to which we give the most love, dedication and care. The road to producing a bottle of our claret is long. It begins with the pruning of the vines in the month of February. It continues with the extensive care we give to the plants during the subsequent months and it culminates with the harvest of the grapes in the month of September and the process of making wine out of them. We do everything ourselves, following the advice of our parents and grandparents, while also applying the newest tendencies in terms of conservation and analysis. The basis of our claret is always the white grape, accompanied by a small quantity of red grapes that gives it its distinctive colour.

You have it
claret

Our claret has three secrets: the farm itself (and its special agroclimatic conditions), the variety of grapes, and the way they are cultivated and processed.

Take a moment to approach Las Vigas and taste first-hand that our claret is very special indeed. To drink a glass of wine surrounded by the vines, by the white soil of the gardens and by the nature that surrounds us, is a truly authentic experience.

Grape harvest

Las Vigas Uva

The way we recall it, grape harvests are much more than simply picking grapes from the vines and then turning it into wine.

The harvest is a moment to be enjoyed with family and friends, sharing experiences, stories and above all what we have learned. All of those moments are kept inside each bottle of our rich claret and each time that we uncork one of them they emerge more alive than ever.

Each September we get together to pick the grapes, press them, convert them into must and then bottle them. In November, we open the cave and together with chestnuts and salted fish we taste the results of the harvest, which by then has already turned into wine. Would you like to have a taste with us?
